I was born and raised in the valley of Kashmir. As a child, I’d wake early just to catch the moment when the rising sun lit up the peaks, turning them to gold for a few fleeting minutes. That quiet magic left a lasting impression on me, one that eventually led me to photography.
Since 2012, I’ve been exploring the art of capturing landscapes, chasing light, weather, and mood across mountains, forests, and coastlines. I lived in Germany for a couple of years, and for the past five years, I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home. Here, I’ve fallen in love with hiking and camping, immersing myself in the region’s wild beauty every chance I get.
Whether I’m standing on a cliff edge or deep in a forest, I feel most alive in those quiet, awe-filled moments that remind me how small I am, and how grand the world is. Photography, for me, is a way to honor those moments and preserve them, even as they slip away.
Thank you for visiting. I hope my images bring you a sense of that wonder.
